Will the Proxim Orinoco 8421-WD Wireless card work with a 7Book?31 Aug 2005 12:38 GMT2
your advice please.  Could someone please tell me whether the Proxim Orinoco
8421-WD Wireless 802.11b (SILVER) PCMCIA card would work with my Psion
7Book?
(Is this the same as the Lucent Orinoco Silver card?)
Outlook Contacts30 Aug 2005 20:56 GMT2
I've tried to synchronise my series 5 with my XP/Outlook 2003 machine &
whilst it will do the agenda, it wont look at Contacts. I'm using Psiwin

Any ideas?

Case for series 729 Aug 2005 10:04 GMT4
Having recently acquired a Series 7 to replace a worn out 5mx, I want to get
hold of a decent case. The only two that I have found are 'Proprta semi
rigid', and the Expansys 'pro carry case'.
Anyone got any advice as to which might be the better case to go for?

POS Ltd have redone their website and have a "PsiXpda coming soon". It
looks like a Psion 5mx. It says it has Epoc and a black and white
screen.

Revo charging problem19 Aug 2005 14:26 GMT13
I'm firing up my Psions after a couple of years, being disillusioned with
Pocket PC's. It's sad to see this NG so quiet now, when two years ago it
was such a lively forum.
No matter - to business. I have a Revo Plus, and I would like to charge it
mail program18 Aug 2005 08:34 GMT5
I am trying to use the mail program on the netbook. My ordinary email
accounts (Tiscali, lineone) all work fine, but my grown-up business account
needs to use the same login for sending as for receiving (it is an account
with 1and1).
Bank accounts15 Aug 2005 14:00 GMT3
This may be useful for UK readers using a Netbook (and probably a
Series 7) computer running EPOC with the Opera 5.1 browser installed.
It works perfectly using a Nationwide Flex-account.
Most banks insist on using IE5 or IE6 so this may well prove a good

Macro 513 Aug 2005 17:58 GMT4
Can anyone help on this please?  I've Macro 5 installed on my Series 5MX and
I'm trying to run a program called Listview.opl which has to operate under
Macro 5, but I've no idea how to proceed.  Thanks for any help.
Psion 5mx Reset problem13 Aug 2005 01:54 GMT1
I'm having some trouble with my Psion 5mx. Apparently it keeps on
resetting when it is being turned on. Apparently it only does that when
my CF card is inserted. Otherwise my device is working fine.
Did anybody experience the same problem? Is there a good solution to
netBook formatting12 Aug 2005 14:09 GMT2
I have just tried to run a disk check on my netBook with the EDU's
diskchecking utility. It stops fairly soon,m telling me that there is a
problem with the FAT Indirection Table, whatever that might be. The
formatting utility from the same package refuses to perform.
stolen 5mx12 Aug 2005 12:09 GMT8
I have had my 5mx (amongst other things) stolen. Fortunately it was backed
up and password protected. I always understood even Psion could not get past
the password so I'm fairly confident the scum won't get at any personal
data. Am I correct ? Please don't post how to do it if ...
