a new macro is installed using 'ctl+M' ...
on calling the new macro, in this case
'fn+v' instead of the macro running

Is the same mains cable used for all the Series 3 machines, please?

I know the Series 3 was known for battery leaking, but I noticed that the
last batteries I had in my 5MX were only used for 1 hour and 33 minutes
(total use of 199 mAh) in 3 months and were empty then.
Any similar experiences? And solutions?

I am running got Psi Win 2.3 on XP. I can link up & synchronise with
outlook when it is set up for the administrator but cannot do so for
an alternative user - it fails to make a connection.
Any idea how I can make it accessible to another user?

Has anyone invented an adapter that would enable the latest CF cards to work
in Psion's SSD slots ?
Just wondering, especially as they're smaller than the Psion SSDs.

Has anyone here tried and succeeded in trying this to get Linux working on

Oh dear.  Looks like TomTom have abandoned us.  I can't even find any
references to past products on the support section.  They've revamped
the site and all appears to be gone.

Looks like my Revo is dead and buried now - and given up the ghost.

I've set up my Revo to try and send/receive emails to my ISP (ClaraNnet),
via infrared to and a Samsung A300 mobile phone (on O2 in UK).
It seems to dial the number (it appears on the phone's display), but then
the email application comes back with a message "comms line failed", ...

Bought a PsiFax SSD on Ebay - seller stated that it could be reformatted for
use as a blank 512k SSD - tried to format on my Psion 3 - get message "Write
protected".  Does anyone know how to unprotect this SSD or is it a
"permanent" ROM?

I have had my Revo for about 4 years now - and noticed that the battery life
has dropped since I had it.  I have just come back from a 2 week vacation -
and recharged the Psion.  Now it will not start at all - makes a double
bleep noise, screen flashes and then makes a continuous 3 ...

I've a Psion 5 and have come across a bit of software that says it is for
the 5, 5mx and above but it is asking for scomms.opx or summat.  I can
reload it to get the full error and ask here, but is the above file only
used on the 5mx?
