Switching Palms and computers31 Dec 2007 21:35 GMT2
I've had my M515 for years but the Vista compatible software won't work
with that Palm.  I still have my XP computer and have been hot synching
on that.
I just got a TX, which I will be able to hot sync on my Vista computer.
CANNOT SYNC with HOTSYNC31 Dec 2007 17:53 GMT1
I tried to update my Palm Pilot Tungsten E and I think I crashed my HotSync.
When I go to the Start menu to put the HotSync Manager icon on my desktop
tray, I get a message that reads:
(In the Blue header) Hotsync.exe - Entry Point Not Found

T|X Blazer files?27 Dec 2007 01:31 GMT1
I tried to copy Blazer from my T|X to my T|C. I copied Blazer.prc and
Blazer_enUS.prc from the T|X to an SD card, then to the T|C's SD and
finally into main memory on the T|C.
But when I tried to run Blazer I got an error that it was missing a

Docs To Go 8 and Vista?22 Dec 2007 23:28 GMT22
Email support from Dataviz for my version of D2G has ended so I can't
ask them, and their support pages don't say:
Is Docs To Go v8 (8.003) compatible with Vista?  If not, is the current
version still compatible with Office 2000?
SD cards, docs and battery usage22 Dec 2007 08:38 GMT2
Im using PalmFiction to read Palmdocs on my M515. To save space on my palm,
I have inserted a 1GB SD card and have put my Palmdocs on that. PalmFiction
can read documents on the card but will it use up battery power more
quickly?
TX replacement?21 Dec 2007 14:07 GMT25
I was all set to put the Palm TX on my Christmas list and then I noticed
a $100 rebate offer (last week) at jandr and a discounted price at newegg.
Does this mean that a replacement will appear after the holidays?
If anyone has info or opinion, it would be appreciated. thanks
Vista not recognizing Palm17 Dec 2007 22:50 GMT7
When I plug in my Palm Pilot to the USB port on my computer I get the
following message: "USB Device Not Recognized" and yet everything works
fine.  It synchronizes with Outlook, charges and does everything it's
supposed to do.  How do I get ride of the erroneous message?

I no longer have any sound on my Tungsten E.
Preferences are set correctly.
Alarm clock works but no sound.
Only change I have had is to download a new
Visor Pro turns on in my pocket16 Dec 2007 12:14 GMT3
Ok, I know this will be a bit strange to some here, but I recently
bought an old Visor Pro. It was sitting in a box somewhere and I got
it for a song. Everything was there, and I'm up and running again. My
last palm was a Palm 3xe. It had a handy flip cover for it, and this
Tungsten E2 won't turn on14 Dec 2007 15:42 GMT5
Worked fine yesterday, spent the night sitting on my desk, now it won't
turn on.  I've tried both the on/off button and the four front-panel
buttons.
My first thought was that somehow the battery completely discharged, but
Palm T|X graffitti not working so good again....12 Dec 2007 20:44 GMT15
I posted this to another newsgroup, but apparently, that group isn't very
active....
I've had a Pilot M105, a Sony Clié, and now a T|X and I must say that the
more expensive T|X is just the worst when it comes to writing recognition.
pdb that holds digitizer calibration?12 Dec 2007 18:03 GMT4
What pdb holds the digitizer calibration?
If my calibration is bad, but it's just because I reset once during a
calibration, would deleting this pdb from FileZ get back to a calibration
that's closer to reality?
recommendation for free mp3 player for Palm Z3112 Dec 2007 06:12 GMT1
I have (of course) realplayer that came with the device, but it seems to
choke sometimes on mp3s (especially or only long podcasts ~1.5 hour)
Any recommendations for a better player?
thx.
