ALP and Palm Garnet31 Dec 2006 22:01 GMT2
I just wonder what will be the future of Palm OS devices for 2007?
Will Palm continue to release new devices in 2007 based on the old Palm
Garnet OS (but with minor enhancements perhaps)?
Will Palm wait for Access to release the new ALP and then release new
Rechargable NIMH, AAA Batteries for Palm M10031 Dec 2006 11:01 GMT2
Is it all right to use rechargable NIMH, AAA batteries (Duracell,
Energizer) in the Palm M100. Some sites suggest not using them. Great
to use them because they have no memory. Thanks.

I have just purchased a Lifedrive and I am having problems with video being
recognised on my Lifedrive.
I use an Apple Powerbook with Missing Syncv5.1 but to get Video on I mount
the Lifedrive using DriveMount. The files I am moving across are either mp4.

Thanks!
Preform a Hotsync from a command line.28 Dec 2006 21:37 GMT3
I am working with a program that generates a Palm database file to be
sent to a Palm PDA. I am looking for a way to have this external
program to also kick off the Hotsync via a command line. Has any one
found a way to do this?

Any ideas how to get that combination running?

not start any program.
Palm TX - Flip Cover28 Dec 2006 13:10 GMT7
Am I missing something?  I can't seem to find any instructions
on how to attach the leather flip cover.  It doesn't appear to be an
intuitive deal either, although I could be missing it.
    Tips?  TIA.

Moving stuff from external card to memory27 Dec 2006 19:24 GMT9
After having moved from a Palm m130 to a Treo 650 I have discovered that
two of my purchased software doesn't work, unless I put the old SD256
card into it. Quite obviously, the databases of the English-English

The situation of Palm27 Dec 2006 11:54 GMT37
Will the Palm continue to sink or will it come back with a bang in the
new year? Just by observation, many software companies seem to have
done more and more for their PPC development. Some companies don't even
both to upgrade their software to work with TX. Seems to me that the
HotSync Error27 Dec 2006 05:28 GMT4
Have a Tungsten E.  When turning on the computer, get a message that
says Hotsync.exe.  This application has failed to start.  CMDS21.dll

The dll file is on the computer, in c:\program files\palm.  This is the
DateBk6 & Treo27 Dec 2006 05:08 GMT2
In DateBk6 you can move from one view to the next by pressing the
DateBook button, at least with my old Palm m130. But this doesn't work
on my new Treo 650.
Is there a way around that problem?
Syncing a Palm TX to Linux via USB cable?27 Dec 2006 02:59 GMT6
Has anyone, ever, under any circumstances, with any version of any Linux
kernel gotten a Palm TX to sync via it's USB cable?  I've googled, searched
