My onboard backup utility (Backup Buddy VFS) was abending and causing a soft
reset of my TX every time I tried do a backup.
Narrowed it down to AirSAM and/or VersaMail.   Deleted both, figuring that I'd
just restore from an older PC-based backup set.

I have owned 5 Palms, starting with a V and currently a T3. On all my
previous Palms, I have had to retire them because of a non-functioning
digitizer.
It surprises me that Palm have never sorted this problem. What is the cause

It is almost scary with the variety of these devices out there...
Would love to get your perspective and experience on what you are using  
and how good is it.

I wonder if anyone else is having this problem and if there is a solution.
It seems that whenever I select the web browser on my TX, say after a period
of non-use, it hangs. I then need to do a soft reset and it works perfectly.
Is this a known fault and is there a solution?

Here's a question following my small report on my first day with a GPS
on my LifeDrive: I have the maps of whole of Europe, so I have Germany,
Austria and Switzerland on a CD, and for example France on another CD.
Now how would I go if I want to take all these maps on one trip

I do a lot of traveling and like to check my email. I currently use a
Toshiba laptop but it is a lot of stuff to haul around just to check
emails.
I am looking for specific suggestions re, phone, Palm PDA, Windows PDA

I have a number of movies setup for use on a Sony PSP.  They are about 500MB
and in mp4 format.  How do I transfer them and then play them on my TX?

Being new to this site I am a retired fire fighter and I have lost some
of my sight.  Well as I was loosing my sight and not being too computer
literate, I was going to throw the towel in and pack it in all
together.

I have a Palm Tungsten E, and the power button is broken.
I have given it to a friend to use, who previously used a Palm Zire 31.
We would like to wipe me off it, and sync him onto it from his existing
desktop software associated with his Zire.

I recently bought a Palm Treo 650.  I like it a lot but when I am using
it as a phone without a headset I keep brushing the touch screen with
my ear and losing the call. Outside of using a headset is there an easy
way to disable the screen to prevent this?  Thanks.

I recently asked a question about transferring files to the SD card in
my Palm TX. The issue is that if I want to drop a .avi or .mpg file in
to play on on TCMP, the Palm software will convert it into its own asf

I have a Treo 650, my stepmother just got a Windows Mobile PDA/Phone.
On the off chance that there is data (phone entry, calendar) or other
data (document files) that we may want to share, how would we do it?

My Tungsten E had a liquid crystal leak and I can't access data
anymore.
I want to hotsync it, but the hotsync button (based on the touch
screen) is not working.

I have just replaced the internal battery of my T3 with a new one, bought
off Ebay. I am very impressed with the replacement battery which is both
cheap and effective and I am considering buying another to replace in the
future.

Hi. the power button on my Tungsten E disappeared.  I can turn it on/off
with a ballpoint pen tip,
but I'd like to replace the button.   Can I buy another power button?  If
so, can I install it?
