Tungsten T program removal01 Aug 2004 00:39 GMT2
Can someone tell me how to uninstall / remove a program from a Tungsten T ?  I have a pocket PC and a friend wanted to know how to do it on his Tungsten T but I was of no help ... since it doesn't work like my PPC.
Also, how do you install an application that is in a CAB file?
Is mytreo.net a warez site?31 Jul 2004 21:06 GMT6
a very old (and incomplete) copy of elite for palmos just showed up on
mytreo.net. Unfortunately, the webmaster is refusing to delete the game
from his site and has instead deleted my postings to his site complaining
about this.
FitalyStamp31 Jul 2004 10:43 GMT23
Any observations or experience with this?  They claim 50-80 wpm using their
system (compared to 15-30 wpm using graffiti).
here's web reference if you are curious:

Recursively removing directories from memory cards?31 Jul 2004 06:16 GMT8
I use FileZ and FileProg a reasonable amount to manage files and
directories on my cards, but neither seems to have the ability to
eradicate an entire directory tree at once. Do any of ya'll know of a
Palm OS utility that will do this? TIA!

Not sure if this is the right/best Newsgroup, but thought
I'd give it a try (if I am totally in the wrong place,
please let me know where to post).
When I try to synchronize, I get a message "The connection

Used Vx battery life expectancy?30 Jul 2004 15:59 GMT4
Need cheap PDA, don't want anything fancy. Considering used Vx from ebay.
I've read of battery problems with the Vx, so if I buy one that is 3+ years
old, is this likely to be a problem?
Alternatively, any recommendations for a newer model that has a mono screen
Photos saved on SD card won't hotsync30 Jul 2004 09:01 GMT3
Photos on my Zire 71 that I copy to my SD card won't hotsync to my PC

"Handheld" and "Card", but the card folder remains empty.
Anyone know why this is? Bug?
PalmOS 4.130 Jul 2004 01:56 GMT5
While surfing the web looking for freeware for a Palm IIIxe, I've
noticed that there was a "PalmOS 4.1 Upgrade CD". Does anyone know where
I could purchase one of these?
Thank You.
Clie TH55 MP3 problem29 Jul 2004 22:52 GMT7
Hi, I just got a TH55. Like it fairly well so far. I'm trying to play
mp3 files, however, and am running into a problem.
I've previously made mp3 files out of a number of my cds, using
various Creative Labs software (I've got a C.L. mp3 player). I
Looking for a VPN Client (for Palm OS) that supports Contivity29 Jul 2004 22:50 GMT1
Does anyone know of any VPN Client that works with contivity products?
I just recently bought a Clie (PEGTH55G model) that has a built-in WiFi.  I
have tried downloading the MergicVPN client (which claims to support
Contivity), but I couldn't get it to work.
Keyclick in OS5?29 Jul 2004 19:31 GMT1
I have seen a lot of software aimed at silencing keyclicks, but I am looking for the
opposite.
My Tungsten T3 will give a system click at appropriate times, but the softkeyboard doesn't
generate any clicks when I type, making data entry somewhat difficult.  Perhaps I am just
Calling Users of SlovoEd on a Tungsten T329 Jul 2004 18:08 GMT3
I need a favour that I hope someone can help me with. I have
a Sony Clie TH-55 and, although I consider SlovoEd to be a
beautifully designed application, there is one aspect of it that I
am not happy about, namely how it handles the virtual graffiti
