Basic Palm pages31 Jul 2003 22:33 GMT1
I've been to the Palm homepage and the Pilot-link page (Linux user)
and a few sites I've found by Googling.
But, I haven't found anything that walks you through doing basic tasks
in Pilot-link if there are problems. All the walkthrough assume
Auto email client 31 Jul 2003 22:21 GMT2
I have the Kyocera 7135 and would like a email client that can dial at
specified intervals to retrieve email without having any user intervention:
dial, login, retrieve and hangup.
Is there anything out there that can do this?
datebook entry as prc/pdb file31 Jul 2003 21:58 GMT3
Is there some way to export one or more DateBook appointments as a prc
or pdb file, so that another user could import them to her Palm (without
using some intermediate application like Microsoft Outlook or the Palm
Desktop PIM)?
memory card usage31 Jul 2003 21:51 GMT1
I have what may be some really basic questions on memory cards (I have an
M500 and a new 32 meg card)
*is it easy to run programs from the card?  or is it best for things like
backup and keeping seldom used programs?
keyboard typing problem31 Jul 2003 20:49 GMT1
What is the cause of the problem if one types fast using an attached
keyboard and Palm (eg m125) has trouble keeping up, trailing behind what
has been typed: is it CPU speed? RAM? Palm Universal Connector's
bandwidth? Software? (someone told me that it was the same in either
Visor Prism died  selling off accessories31 Jul 2003 18:53 GMT1
My Prism finally has gone to the happy PDA graveyard and as they don't sell
them anymore I am going to be selling off my accessories.

Image resolution lower / Visor Prism Avantgo31 Jul 2003 17:36 GMT1
I have a handspring visor prism and use avantgo when I sync. I've been
using it for about 16 months with no problems. Now, all of a sudden,
I've noted that the images that I see within avantgo have a lower
resolution. Selecting the appropriate resolutions (I tried all
VisorPhone ringer not ringing31 Jul 2003 16:51 GMT4
I've had a VisorPhone with a Visor Deluxe for about fifteen months,
and have been generally satisfied.
I've realized within the last few days that the ringer has become
inaudible.  I have the following settings in the Phone application's
Question about Palm games31 Jul 2003 16:23 GMT1
I installed the 3Com Games Collection into my Palm IIIe, but something seems
to be wrong with the Hardball game - after the first round, whenever I touch
a button, I get sent out of the game and into the Palm's Memo List.
Anyone know what's going on?  Am I doing something wrong?  ...
Data loss - any hope?31 Jul 2003 15:59 GMT5
My Palm is an m105. I'm guess it's hopeless, but if I change the
batteries and the Palm appears to have lost its data, is the data
permanently gone? I noticed that the screen was flashing on and off
quickly after I changed the batteries, so I took out the batteries and
Treo 180? Is it any good?31 Jul 2003 13:39 GMT1
While I am waiting for the Treo 600, I have a chance to purchase a Brand new
Treo 180 to tie me over. The only reason I am considering it, is it is going
dirt cheap. Are these any good, though? Any caveats?
TIA
TomTom City Maps31 Jul 2003 10:57 GMT7
Does anybody know for sure if TomTom City Maps will install to/run from an
SD card?
If not, can the map data be installed and accessed from one? My M130 is
nearly full of stuff I use regularly.
problems with Palm Ultra Thin KB and Tungsten T31 Jul 2003 10:38 GMT2
This is driving me nuts. I bought a Palm Ultra Thin keyboard to use with my
Tungsten T. No matter what I do, whenever I connect the Tungsten T to the
keyboard it Hotsyncs. If I touch any key on the keyboard it Hotsyncs. I've
installed the driver that came on the CD-ROM supplied with ...
Zire 71 battery life31 Jul 2003 06:15 GMT2
Is the Zire 71 known to have poor battery life, probably from the fast
processor?
TT rebate31 Jul 2003 04:46 GMT1
Does anyone here know the address where the old PDAs are to be sent in order
to receive the rebate from Palm on Tungsten Ts purchased during the rebate
offer?
Thanks,
