I sent on this newsgroup 2 weeks ago a post regarding a survey I am
conducting with a PhD student (Ben) from the University of Cambridge
(UK). The goal is to better understand some basic stuffs on the usage of
handhelds (PDA/Smartphones) devices in order to provide efficient

I'm not sure what to make of this:  I have a HotSync operation that's
stuck seemingly permanently.

I am considering upgrading from an old but good IIIc. I don't think I really
meed the multimedia options of the lifedrive and have narrowed my choice
down to a T5 or a TX.
The WiFi looks attractive on the TX but so does the extra memory on the T5.

I use Backupman and Cardbackup to backup my T3 onto an SD card. Neither of
them seem to have any password protection system for a restore, so even if
used a locking system to lock my palm (eg with Teal Lock), all my data could
be put onto the same palm with a hard reset and a data ...

I'm looking at replacing my Nokia 6310i/Palm Tungsten T combo with a
smartphone.   Not bothered in the slightest about music/video/games but
it needs to have a reasonable battery life, work well as a handheld
phone (not just with a headset) and be a usable PDA (for data entry as

What makes of Windows Mobile pocket PC or smartphone (ie: HP, Dell,
Asus etc. ) are considered to be the best quality?

I'm using Zire72s.
I'm living South Korea, and I'm middle school student.

In the Palm Launcher on OS 4.1.2 I have the following bug that Palm OS
resets when there are more than 254 Databases and I want to do something
of the menu (changing category, deleding programs, etc.).

I got a re-furbished palm zire and I don't know the shorthand for how to

synchronise the calendar in my new Treo with a desktop PC but would like to
synchronise it directly with a web-based calendar. That way, friends and

Can i use the cradle for a M125 palm for a M505? The M505 doesn't seem to be
charging - is it likely to be the cradle or the battery?
