It doesn't even really hang, in that it doesn't lock up, it just sits
there for up to fifteen minutes "Synchronizing Contacts". Takes a

Palm database files disappear after hotsync29 Mar 2005 00:10 GMT2
I just upgraded my old palm to a Treo 600. During installation, the
installer found my profile successfully. However, the first time I
hotsynced, all my database files (address book, calendar, etc) were
replaced by empty files! Fortunately, I had made a backup of my data.

How to fully restore?
Presumably, install all my non-palm software first?
Do I just drag and drop my .dat files from ...\palm\oldZ71\address

Backupbuddy failed- I need an alternative28 Mar 2005 00:50 GMT13
I have faithfully backed up the data from my T3 on a daily basis using
Backupbuddy. When My T3 finally required a hard reset, BB did not deliver.
The last 3 backups would not reload, and would lock up the palm in mid
backup. I had to go back 4 days before I got to a backup which ...
